Welcome!
My name is Jim Darrough. My family consists of my beautiful wife Loree, my daughter Wendy, my Grandson Nikolas who lives with his Mom Wendy in San Diego and who will be FOUR next April, my daughter Heather (16) and my son Corey (18). We have two cats named "Gabby" (a Manx) and "Lance", three dogs named "Missy" (an American Eskimo Loree rescued from Green Hill Humane Society), "Skipper" (a Yorkie Loree brought home from Oklahoma), and "Schlogger" (our Golden Retriever), an African Gray parrot named "Smudge" and three horses named "Missy", "Rufus" and "Lucero". The horses are really Loree's, but she let's me tell people that they are "ours". Isn't that nice?
My hobbies include Amateur Radio, model rocketry, and, of course, computers. You will see some pictures on our site that were taken on top of Ophir Mountain, near the coast of Oregon (a little North of Medford area) a couple years ago. Also some pictures of the ongoing antenna project at my friend Dick Ewing's place. And some general miscellaneous stuff I'll try to update once in awhile ("Real Soon Now").
My lovely wife Loree is an avid Horsewoman, and is very accomplished. She has forgotten more about horse care than most of us ever knew. She still has to call the vet now and then, though! Ask Loree if you have questions about horse care, feeding, riding (both English and Western) and just about any other horse-related problems. She will be happy to answer.
